Boston University Alumni and Wheelock College (1888-2018) Alumni<\/u><\/strong><\/h4>\n

Boston University and Wheelock College merged on June 1, 2018, and as a result, BU has assumed custodianship of the academic credentials issued by Wheelock College.\u00a0Alumni of Wheelock College will request credentials from Boston University as of June 1, 2018.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Boston University and Wheelock College Graduates may request a replacement diploma by completing the Online Diploma Replacement Request Form<\/a>. Replacement BU diplomas will follow current BU diploma production templates. Wheelock College replacement diplomas will replicate your original Wheelock College diploma.<\/p>\n

All fees are payable by MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express. Checks and cash payments are not accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Once you have submitted the Online Diploma Replacement Request Form<\/a>, your request will be reviewed within 7 business days. If approved, your card will be charged for the applicable fees. If denied, the Diploma Office will be in touch with further instructions.<\/p>\n

Diploma orders are placed once per week. Standard diploma production takes 10-15 business days and expedited production takes 5 business days from when the order is placed.<\/p>\n

All standard domestic shipments will be mailed via USPS. Expedited domestic or international shipments will be mailed via UPS. If a diploma must first be routed to the Diploma Office for notarization and expedited shipping is requested, the diploma will be shipped via UPS to the Diploma Office and then shipped via FedEx to the requested address.<\/p>\n

Boston University is not responsible for diplomas which are lost or damaged during the mailing process.\u00a0Appropriate fees will be assessed for replacement diplomas requested under those circumstances.<\/p>\n

<\/u>Diploma Name Change<\/h4>
<\/span><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

If you wish your replacement diploma to display a different name than the one printed on your original diploma and the one in our records, you must submit 1) a completed Name Change Form<\/a> and 2) official documentation of your new legal name (i.e., driver\u2019s license, marriage certificate, court order, passport).<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

If you wish to order a replacement diploma to be notarized, you will need to also complete our Notary Request Form<\/a>. Please write the address to which we should mail the notarized diploma on both the Online Diploma Replacement Request Form<\/a> and the Notary Request Form<\/a> and pay for any applicable shipping fees. The diploma will ship first to our office for notarization, and then we will mail the document to your requested address.<\/p>\n
