When she was deciding where to turn for her MBA degree, Sarah Fitzgerald asked around.  She says that, for her, Questrom was an easy choice.  Word on the street, from everyone she talked with, was that BU Questrom MBA graduates seem to touch every company, brand, and industry in the city.  Everyone Fitzgerald talked to, shared such positive experiences with Questrom degree programs that she wanted to see it for herself.  \u201cLiving and working in the area, I knew from others how extensive the course selection was and how great the alumni network is,\u201d she says, \u201cI also knew several people that had gone through the program and they were very happy with their experiences.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her educational background before Questrom, started at Colgate University in Liberal Arts with a concentration in English and Spanish.  After Colgate, she began her career in advertising and then moved over to Liberty Mutual where she worked in digital and direct marking in-house.  She eventually took on her current role managing their Lead Nurturing team.  \u201cHaving always been in advertising and marketing,\u201d Fitzgerald says, \u201cI wanted to deepen my pure business <\/em>understanding.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, she did\u2014at Questrom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once she decided on Questrom, she was able to start creating her own positive story.  One of her favorite experiences is, without a doubt\u2014the European Field Seminar.  Fitzgerald explains the lasting impression it left, \u201cIt was amazing for many reasons,\u201d she says, \u201cwe visited sixteen companies and each one was extremely interesting, a wide variety too (financial services, government, beauty, telecom, etc.).  Not to mention just being in Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris and Budapest!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her academic studies paired with the real-world learning that Questrom\u2019s PEMBA provides is directly affecting Fitzgerald\u2019s success in the workforce\u2014proof that with her added Questrom MBA degree she will benefit from future success in her career.\u00a0 \u201cIn the two and a half years since I\u2019ve been in the program, I was promoted and have progressively gained more responsibilities.\u201d\u00a0 She explains, \u201cThe education and training I\u2019ve received at BU has certainly helped in this regard; I\u2019ve gained confidence in my abilities and really expanded my strategic and business thinking.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
