Tima Ahmed dreams of launching her own venture. In particular, she aspires to develop innovative solutions for Black women’s hair care. Questrom is where she\u2019s laying the foundation for that dream to come true<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m passionate about creating products that address the unique needs of Black women and promote inclusivity and diversity in the tech industry,\u201d says Tima, who is a native of Khartoum, Sudan. \u201cOne of the things I appreciate most about Questrom is its diverse community. The school attracts people from all over the world, and this creates a vibrant and dynamic learning environment. I\u2019ve had the opportunity to work with people from different backgrounds and cultures, and this has helped me develop a broader perspective on business and life.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tima also values Questrom\u2019s module-based curriculum, which builds on her bachelor\u2019s in applied mathematics from Toronto\u2019s York University, while also introducing her to the fundamental of business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As an aspiring business creator and CEO, Tima is also soaking up all she can about leadership. \u201cI\u2019ve learned that leadership is not just about having a title or being in charge,\u201d she says. \u201cIt\u2019s about being able to inspire and motivate others, to communicate effectively, and to work collaboratively to achieve a common goal. I\u2019ve also learned that the best leaders are those who are willing to listen, learn, and adapt to new situations.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
