Divyaleen Manchanda\u2019s ultimate career goal is to run her own business. \u201cHowever,\u201d she says, \u201cto achieve this goal, I first need to develop a strong foundation of business knowledge and skills and gain practical experience in the industry.\u201d That\u2019s why she chose Questrom\u2019s MS in Management Studies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe MSMS program is highly effective in providing hands-on training, with activities like analyzing case studies, creating marketing plans, and conducting market research,\u201d says Divyaleen, who holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in economics from NMIMS, India. \u201cIt has also offered me opportunities to interact with industry professionals, attend networking events, and do internships with leading companies like Marriott, Polestar, and Chick-fil-A.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diversity is valued at Questrom. Being a part of mixed cohorts and teams made up of students from different cultural and educational backgrounds has been a highlight for Divyaleen. So, have her professors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cQuestrom faculty members are experts in their fields and have extensive experience as both researchers and practitioners,\u201d she says. \u201cAnd the school provides a diverse array of programs and resources to support students in achieving their academic and professional goals.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the short-term, Divyaleen plans to secure a position in a company where she can learn and grow as a professional. \u201cI\u2019m specifically seeking opportunities that will allow me to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of business operations, such as marketing, product management and business development,\u201d she says. \u201cThis practical experience will be crucial in helping me develop a comprehensive understanding of the business world and identify areas where I can make a meaningful impact as an entrepreneur\u2014and make a positive mark on society.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
