When Aliesha Grandison came to Questrom, she was ready to step out of her comfort zone. With a BA in psychology focused on industrial and organizational psychology, she decided to make the move into a career in business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customer success, operational management, consulting, and project management were all areas Aliesha was considering. Questrom\u2019s MS in Management Studies (MSMS) fit the bill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe MSMS curriculum is strategically designed to provide us with the knowledge and skills needed to perform in a business setting,\u201d she says. \u201cThe hands-on experience we get while working on projects for industry leaders is the icing on the cake. Regardless of which industry or role I end up choosing, by obtaining my MSMS degree, I\u2019m certain I\u2019ll be prepared.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another highlight of the program for Aliesha is the people she\u2019s met. \u201cMy classmates are a brilliant selection of people,\u201d she says. \u201cI\u2019ve really appreciated getting to know them. The beauty of the program is how diverse the class is\u2014everyone has a different background, and brings something unique to the table. The diversity in degree concentration, work experience, and culture makes discussions very interesting. You can almost always expect to gain a new perspective after every class.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aliesha believes the bond with her classmates will last long after she graduates, and the global Questrom alumni network will unlock endless career opportunities. \u201cI am extremely excited about that,\u201d she says. \u201cI look forward to taking advantage of the vast professional network, and working towards creating my own footprint, so I can pay it forward for future generations.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s Aliesha\u2019s advice to students considering Questrom\u2019s MSMS? Get ready for the experience to exceed your expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe program promises to give you real-world business experience and guidance on finding the career that\u2019s perfect for you\u2014I can attest that they deliver on that promise starting on day one. It\u2019s only the first month in and we\u2019ve already started building our professional profiles and connecting to the substantial Questrom alumni network. We\u2019ve also been introduced to what it would feel like to manage a business in a month-long simulation. I feel like I\u2019ve already gained years of business knowledge and experience. I can only imagine what the next eight months will bring!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
