A dual Irish and American citizen who grew up in New York City, Sarah is passionate about technology, innovation, and creative problem-solving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While pursuing her bachelor\u2019s in computer engineering at Case Western Reserve University, she worked as a technology information systems assistant, helping faculty and staff members troubleshoot hardware and software issues. For her next step, she knew she wanted to combine her strong foundation in IT with a solid understanding of the fundamentals of business. She was drawn to Questrom\u2019s Master in Management because of the project-based nature of the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhile researching similar programs, I found that most were heavily focused on lectures and essays,\u201d Sarah says. \u201cI wanted something more hands-on\u2014an opportunity to develop both my management and soft skills in real-world scenarios. Questrom stood out as the perfect fit.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a 50:50 ratio of project learning to class learning, the MiM program challenges students to collaborate in teams as they apply what they learn in class to real business problems for real clients. In as short as nine months, students like Sarah can gain the skills employers seek most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When she came to Questrom, Sarah was initially interested in a career in consulting or product management. The MiM program has given her a deeper understanding of what those roles actually involve, while the curated networking events have given her valuable connections to professionals in a wide-range of business fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
