School of Business, by providing a support system through mentorship from upper-level students, faculty, staff, and alumni.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column their personal and professional growth through engagement with inclusive leadership skills, financial education, and identity-specific career exploration.&nbsp; Foundational to the program are conversations centered on race, class, and how professionals from historically under invested communities navigate business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>All students are welcome. Current Ascend Fellows come from diverse backgrounds, including students who identify as first-generation, low income, immigrant, and of all racial backgrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Established in 2017, Ascend is the flagship program at Questrom\u2019s Center for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.&nbsp; Dedicated to serving all members of Questrom\u2019s student communities, the Center for DEI offers ongoing diversity education, identity conscious programs, community building initiatives, and equity focused solutions.&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/questromworld.bu.edu\/dei\/\">Learn more about the Center here.&nbsp;<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Current Questrom students can apply to join Ascend each summer, with participation in the program beginning in late August.&nbsp; The 2025-2026 Cohort application will open in early May. This annual trip supports the fellows&#8217; career path decision-making, offering exposure to real-world professional spaces.
