Aaron is a PhD candidate in Marketing at the Questrom School of Business at Boston University– where he works with Dr. Nina Mazar. Aaron’s work investigates how consumers react to the marketing of diversity and social impact. In particular, Aaron has explored how the digital marketing of diversity affects applicant behavior and quality, how consumers react to the marketing of inclusive policies and ESG ratings, and the aspects of our environments that encourage dishonest behavior. In a separate stream of projects, Aaron is exploring savings behavior and consumer collaboration with AI.
Aaron received undergraduate degrees in Psychology (B.S.) and Economics (B.A.) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2014. Prior to joining the Marketing PhD program at Questrom, Aaron conducted behavioral economics research at The Center for Advanced Hindsight (CAH) at Duke University. As a behavioral scientist at CAH, Aaron designed and executed experiments in both field and laboratory settings.
