Micah is a PhD candidate in the Management & Organizations department. With a broad interest in occupations, technology, and the future of work, Micah’s current projects include an analysis of physicians during the AIDS epidemic, and a study on the careers of competitive video gamers.

Before joining academia, Micah worked at several tech startups in San Francisco as a designer/engineer/multi-disciplinarian, served as a consultant in healthcare organizations, and continues to volunteer as an advisor and advocate for LGBTQ health.
