A total of 80 credits is required for the MBA+ MS in Manufacturing Engineering program. Students must take 40 credits in residency at the Questrom School of Business. For courses counted toward the engineering MS, a student must complete 32 credits with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 (B). The remaining 8 credits can be taken at either Questrom or the College of Engineering (ENG). Candidates are encouraged to contact the Department of Mechanical Engineering graduate programs coordinator, who will help them plan their curricula with an advisor at the time of first enrollment in this joint degree program.
Courses for the MBA must be completed with a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.7 (B−). Students may enroll in the MBA program on a full- or part-time basis. For those students who are in the Professional Evening MBA program, the degree is 72 credits, including 36 ENG credits, 32 Questrom credits, and 4 credits taken in either ENG or Questrom. For completion of the dual degree, students must be in compliance with time limits set by each school. Questrom and ENG require that joint degree requirements be completed within six years of matriculation.
