Introducing the Institute for Leadership & Work, formerly HRPI

Formerly known as the Human Resources Policy Institute, we are introducing a new name: the Institute for Leadership & Work at Questrom School of Business, Boston University. Led by Peter Fasolo, Ph.D. and Connie Noonan Hadley, the Institute continues its mission of convening a confidential, research-informed community of senior people leaders advancing meaningful work that creates lasting value for organizations and their people.
As AI, digital labor, reskilling, governance expectations, and shifting workforce dynamics reshape enterprise leadership, people strategy has become inseparable from enterprise strategy. The Institute’s new identity reflects this reality while remaining firmly rooted in the CHRO community and guided by Chatham House Rules to preserve candid peer dialogue.
