Assistant Professor Jetson Leder-Luis Named Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER)

The National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) recently appointed Jetson Leder-Luis, Assistant Professor of Markets, Public Policy, and Law, as a faculty research fellow.

The appointment comes following a call for nominations in January. 70 new affiliates have been appointed to the NBER: 23 research associates and 47 faculty research fellows. Those appointed as research associates must be approved by the NBER Board of Directors, while faculty research fellows are appointed by the NBER president. A primary academic appointment in North America is required of all new affiliates; research associates must have tenure. Overall, the newly appointed researchers serve on the faculties of 42 different colleges and universities and received their graduate training at 29 different institutions.
