BU Questrom’s Alumni Magazine Wins CASE Circle of Excellence Award

Everett is recognized by prestigious international competition as one of the best magazines in higher education.

The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) awarded Everett a silver Circle of Excellence award in the Special Constituency Magazines category. The international competition recognizes the best communications in higher education. Winners were chosen from nearly 3,000 entries from over 600 different institutions around the world, based on a number of factors, including overall quality, innovation, use of resources, and overall impact on the institution and its communities.

The judges praised Everett for “capturing hearts with its energy, its nuance, and sense of humor,” as well as its refreshing takes on serious topics. “The mag tackled serious subjects like gender discrimination, but did not succumb to self-seriousness, being playful and irreverent, when appropriate, which was refreshing for a business school magazine.”

Named after Questrom’s founder, Everett W. Lord, Everett offers creative and authentic perspectives on business management. A mix of students, alumni, and faculty experts weigh in each issue to provide readers with practical, real-world knowledge of today’s business climate and the latest advancements in everything from technology to marketing.
