Through grade school, Mohaghegh (BSBA\u201918) found ways to make every open-ended assignment music related. And at Questrom, she answers questions with a music spin: business law classes soon turn into a debate on artist contracts.<\/p>\n<p>Mohaghegh is committed to finding her own way of bringing music to life. Outside of class, she\u2019s a DJ, an editorial intern at a music news site, and the cofounder of the <a href=\"https:\/\/bumusicbusinessclub.wordpress.com\/\">BU Music Business Club<\/a>, which manages student artists.<\/p>\n<p>As president and events planner for the club, Mohaghegh helps artists find gigs and brings successful music professionals to campus to share their perspectives. The club also releases albums, produces music videos and photo shoots, and manages artists\u2019 social media platforms. Mohaghegh\u2019s on-air career started with her own new music show on BU\u2019s award-winning student radio station, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/com\/wtbu-radio\/\">WTBU<\/a>. \u201cDiscussing it [music] on air, reviewing it, and keeping up with it, sharing my ideas and opinions was just so exciting,\u201d she says. Today, she hosts a weekly program mixing music and talk.<\/p>\n<p>Mohaghegh hopes to make a career of promoting and celebrating artists. She established the BU chapter of <a href=\"http:\/\/vergecampus.com\/chapter\/boston-university-bu\/\">Verge Campus<\/a>, an online multimedia platform where millennials talk about music, film, and more. As editor-in-chief, she\u2019s had to learn graphic design, public speaking, and music journalism.
