Coaching Skills Implementation
Why Coaching?
Coaching is a powerful rehabilitation intervention for the actualization of recovery goals and well-being. It is a goal-directed, results-oriented, systematic process in which one person facilitates sustained change in another (Cavanagh, et. al, 2006). It is also applicable to organizations and programs that provide rehabilitation and recovery services.
The Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation has conducted research and provided services in coaching people in colleges, at work, and in their community to reach their goals.
