Marianne Farkas

Dr. Marianne Farkas, ScD, has authored and co-authored over 180 journal articles, book chapters, textbooks, and multimedia training packages for professionals and peers. As one of the founding members of the Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation under the leadership of Dr. William A. Anthony, Dr. Farkas has worked in various capacities in the field of psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery, contributing to the knowledge base and competencies that make up both areas of focus. An expert in Knowledge Translation, or bridging science to practice, she has developed innovative training, consultation and organizational change strategies and initiatives to support programs and systems in their efforts to adopt psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery innovation both in the U.S. and in more than 25 countries around the world.
