She studies the dynamics of information integrity, the politicization of science, and visual communication in the digital public sphere. Her research integrates computational social science and digital humanities to analyze large-scale textual, visual, and network data, examining how misinformation, conspiracies, and scientific claims circulate across online platforms. In addition to conducting empirical studies, she develops tools and methods that enable humanities and social science researchers to analyze big data and visual media at scale.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s7\"><span class=\"s5\">Her research has been supported by substantial grants, including the Global Network on Extremism and Technology (GNET) and the National Institute of Justice (NIJ). She has also received numerous awards for her scholarship, including the National Communication Association&#8217;s Gerald R. Miller Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award, the IEEE VIS 2023 Best Paper Award, and top paper awards from the National Communication Association&#8217;s Division.
