Patricia Fabian"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/sph\/profile\/m-fabian\/\"><span>Patricia Fabian<\/span><\/a><span>, is a Professor of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/sph\/departments\/environmental-health\/\" data-outlook-id=\"a33bd418-43f0-4d06-8f2e-8816498b93d5\" data-ogsc=\"rgb(17, 85, 204)\" title=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/sph\/departments\/environmental-health\/\"><u>Environmental Health<\/u><\/a> at the School of Public Health and Associate Director at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/igs\/\">Institute for Global Sustainability at Boston University<\/a><\/span><span>.\u00a0<\/span><span>She founded the\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.bu.edu\/fabian\/\"><span>Sustainable Built Environment Lab<\/span><\/a><span>,<\/span><span>\u00a0which conducts research on extreme heat resilience in cities, indoor air quality in schools and homes, and energy transitions in the built environment.<\/span><span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Dr. Fabian\u2019s research teams are highly interdisciplinary.\u00a0<\/span><span>Her research group has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles, and her expert opinion is often sought by members of the media. Dr. Fabian was a Steering Committee member for the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs on the 80\u00d750 Greenhouse Gas Reduction Study and currently serves on the Massachusetts Climate Science Advisory Panel<\/span><span>.
