He is also affiliated with\u00a0Graduate Medical Sciences, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/gms\/mhcbm\/faculty\/daniel-fulford\/\">Mental Health Counseling\/Behavioral Medicine<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/gms\/behavioral-neuroscience\/\">Behavioral Neuroscience<\/a>, and the Graduate Program in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/neuro\/profile\/daniel-fulford\/\">Neuroscience<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Fulford conducts lab- and field-based studies to better understand problems in motivation and emotion among people with mental illness. A key focus of his work is on using smartphones as tools for sampling experiences in daily life, including of social isolation and loneliness.
