After receiving his Ph.D in economics from Harvard University in 1978, Samuelson joined the BU faculty. His research interests include game theory, auctions, bargaining, microeconomics and experimental economics. He serves on the editorial board of\u00a0<em>Group Decisions and Negotiation and Journal of Economic Behavior\u00a0and Organization<\/em> and has written numerous journal articles.
