He received a bachelor&#8217;s degree in English from the University of Michigan\u00a0and then went on to earn a Ph.D in Religion in Literature from Boston University. Joshua&#8217;s teaching and research interests include literature, trauma, moral injury, religion, the Bible, and ethics.
