Mackey"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span>John W. Mackey is Master Lecturer and Chair of the Social Sciences Division in the\u00a0<\/span><span>College of General Studies. He teaches courses on modern Russian and Chinese history,\u00a0<\/span><span>American foreign policy, and modern European history. He received the Peyton Richter\u00a0<\/span><span>Award for Interdisciplinary Teaching from the College of General Studies in 2016, the\u00a0<\/span><span>Janice Thaddeus Teaching Prize from Harvard University in 2004, and the Donald White\u00a0<\/span><span>Teaching Excellence Award from Boston College in 1997. His work has been published\u00a0<\/span><span>by Cognoscenti, Salon, and We\u2019re History.
