She serves as the director of BU&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/aphasiaresearch\/\">Aphasia Research Laboratory<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Professor Kiran&#8217;s\u00a0research incorporates the\u00a0treatment efficacy experiments involving patients with aphasia, experiments examining mono and bi-lingual language processing and functional neuroimaging in patients with aphasia.
