She has a Ph.D. in Business and Public Policy from UC Berkeley\u2019s Haas School of Business and an undergraduate degree in economics and international studies from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. \u00a0Prior to joining Questrom, she served on the faculty at the University of Oregon, the Wharton School, and the University of Michigan\u2019s Ross School of Business, where she\u00a0co-directed the Program for Law, Economics, and Technology.<\/p>\n<p>Rosemarie\u2019s research examines the value and strategic use of intellectual property, and broader aspects of innovation policy and management. Findings from her studies have been published in a wide range of journals including the <em>Journal of Financial Economics<\/em>, <em>Organization Science<\/em>, <em>Management Science<\/em>, the <em>Rand Journal of Economics<\/em>, <em>Research Policy<\/em> and the <em>Strategic Management Journal<\/em>. Her \u201cpatent paradox\u201d study with Bronwyn Hall is an ISI web of science top-cited paper in the fields of economics and business. In 2014, she received an NBER Innovation Policy Research grant for an ongoing study on the use of patents as collateral in startup lending.
