{"id":57682,"date":"2014-11-03T14:26:34","date_gmt":"2014-11-03T19:26:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/experts\/?post_type=profile&#038;p=57682"},"modified":"2019-10-11T15:20:51","modified_gmt":"2019-10-11T19:20:51","slug":"taylor-boas","status":"publish","type":"profile","link":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/prsocial\/profile\/taylor-boas\/","title":{"rendered":"Taylor Boas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Taylor Boas joined the department and Boston University in 2009 after receiving his Ph.D. in political science from the University of California, Berkeley.\u00a0 During the 2009-2010 academic year, he was on leave from BU as a Visiting Fellow at the <a href=\"http:\/\/kellogg.nd.edu\/\">Kellogg Institute for International Studies<\/a>, University of Notre Dame.<\/p>\n<p>Boas\u2019s research and teaching focus on comparative politics, Latin American politics, methodology, political communication, electoral campaigns, and political behavior. He is presently working on a book manuscript on the evolution of presidential campaign strategies in Chile, Brazil, and Peru since their transitions to democracy.
