Goldman School of Dental Medicine\u00a0at Boston University. Dr. Garcia\u2019s research interests include the mechanisms of periodontal disease progression, alveolar bone loss, skeletal bone mineral density, as well as tobacco control and prevention.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Garcia has been involved in studies that encompass the areas of oral epidemiology, health services research, and health policy.
