He is the co-author of\u00a0<em>Ride, Boldly Ride:\u00a0<\/em><em>History of the American Western Movie<\/em>\u00a0with Mary Lea Bandy and preface by Clint Eastwood. He is also the author of <em>Nihilism in Television and Film: From \u2018Citizen Kane\u2019 to \u2018The Sopranos\u2019<\/em> and co-editor of <em>John Ford in Focus: Essays on the Filmmaker\u2019s Life and Work<\/em> (McFarland, 2008). He co-edited (with introduction)\u00a0<em>John Ford in Focus: Essays on the Filmmaker\u2019s Life and Work <\/em>by K. L. Stoehr and Michael C. Connolly (Jefferson, NC: McFarland &amp; Co. Publishers, 2008).<\/p>\n<p>Kevin was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Tuebingen in Tuebingen, Germany during the 1993-1994 academic year and was twice a Junior Visiting Fellow at the\u00a0Institute of Human Science\u00a0in Vienna, Austria.<\/p>\n<p>From 1996 to 1998, he served as an instructor in the humanities division of the\u00a0Core Curriculum\u00a0program at Boston University. During that period he also worked full-time as Program Administrator and Program Coordinator for the 20th World Congress of Philosophy, which was the largest assembly of philosophers ever held, with over 3000 philosophers attending from over 100 nations.
