Larry Yackle<\/strong>\u00a0has written seven books:\u00a0<\/span>Federal Courts: The Current Questions\u00a0<\/em>(Carolina Academic Press, 2017);\u00a0<\/span>Federal Courts<\/em>\u00a0(Carolina Academic Press, 3d ed. 2009);\u00a0<\/span>Regulatory Rights: Supreme Court Activism, the Public Interest, and the Making of Constitutional Law<\/em>\u00a0(University of Chicago Press, 2007);\u00a0<\/span>Federal Courts: Habeas Corpus<\/em>\u00a0(Foundation Press, 2003);\u00a0<\/span>Reclaiming the Federal Courts<\/em>\u00a0(Harvard University Press, 1994);\u00a0<\/span>Reform and Regret<\/em>\u00a0(Oxford University Press, 1989); and\u00a0<\/span>Postconviction Remedies<\/em>\u00a0(Lawyers Coop, 1981). His special interest is federal\u00a0<\/span>habeas corpus<\/em>\u00a0for state prisoners. He has written a number of articles on that subject, the most recent of which are: \u201cThe New\u00a0<\/span>Habeas Corpus<\/em>\u00a0in Death Penalty Cases,\u201d 63\u00a0<\/span>Am. U. L. Rev.<\/em>\u00a01791 (2014) and \u201cAEDPA\u00a0<\/span>Mea Culpa,<\/em>\u201d 24 Federal Sentencing Reporter 4 (2012).\u00a0Yackle has written amicus briefs (on behalf of the ACLU) in many of the\u00a0<\/span>habeas corpus<\/em>\u00a0cases the Supreme Court has considered in the last twenty years.<\/span><\/p>\n
