Port and Chocolate
- Starts: 5:00 pm on Tuesday, October 23, 2018
- Ends: 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 23, 2018
If you have never enjoyed the pleasures of chocolate and port together before, you are in for a real treat. In this tasting seminar, Master of Wine Sandy Block and his son, cacao and coffee importer Matthew Block, will be presenting these two connoisseur’s specialties side by side. Come learn about the varieties of port and how chocolate is made, specifically the single farm chocolates of the Amazon in southern Peru. You will taste different styles of port alongside a selection of single-farm cacao that Campesino Mateo has brought to the U.S. and transformed into delicious tasting chocolates, each showing an amazing range of contrasting aromas and flavors.
