First Annual All-Female Hackathon at Boston University

On October 21-22nd, Girls Who Code BU is hosting Hack the Gap, a two-day coding workshop series located in the the Trustee Ballroom to teach undergraduate women at Boston University how they can use technology to bring their ideas to life. For one weekend, students will have the opportunity to work on a team with four other female undergraduate students at Boston University and a professional mentor to build something amazing! At Hack the Gap, we want you to think out of the box, experiment with new technologies, ask questions, learn something new, and have fun! This beginners hackathon welcomes all experience levels and participants will get: Connections with mentors from tech companies in Boston, such as Red Hat. Hubspot, and Cogo Labs Workshops in topics ranging from Virtual Reality to Web Development Unlimited coffee and tea Prizes ... and most importantly--SWAG!
