  • Starts: 6:00 pm on Wednesday, October 25, 2017
  • Ends: 7:15 pm on Wednesday, October 25, 2017
David Wood is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist who has covered war and conflict around the world for more than 35 years. His second book, "What Have We Done: The Moral Injury of Our Longest Wars," was published by Little, Brown & Co. in late 2016. The work is based on his deep reporting in Iraq and Afghanistan and on veterans after they return. Wood will give the keynote address after a series of dialogues on the moral injury of war: a 2:00 screening of the documentary, "Almost Sunrise" and a 4:30pm panel discussion of moral injury featuring Neta Crawford (Boston University College of Arts and Sciences), Joshua Pederson (Boston University College of General Studies), Barbod Salimi (Boston University School of Theology) and Jennifer Wortmann (Veterans Affairs). The events are sponsored by Boston University School of Theology and Boston University College of General Studies.
