Cinematheque: Evening with Amy Geller and Allie Humenuk

AN EVENING WITH AMY GELLER AND ALLIE HUMENUK. Geller, a producer and BU film instructor, and Humenuk, a Boston director-cinematographer, combined to direct The Guys Next Door, about a gay married couple who have had two children through the valiant help of their college friend. She’s been twice their surrogate though having three children of her own. This gentle, amusing documentary has won Audience prizes at many film festivals, and will play on PBS. Q&A to follow.
