Coming Home to Sicily: Seasonal Harvests and Cooking from Casa Vecchie

The Anna Tasca Lanza Cooking School is the most notable of its kind in Sicily. The school - founded by Fabrizia Lanza's mother, Anna Tasca Lanza - is located on the family's estate, Regaleali, where food has been grown and prepared the same way for centuries. Lanza will discuss the foods and meals prepared according to her family's recipes, some of which are featured in her new, beautifully photographed book, Coming Home to Sicily: Seasonal Harvests and Cooking from Casa Vecchie. Helen Gallo Bryan, vice president and importer for Winebow, is an expert on Italian and Sicilan wines. She will discuss the Tasca d'Almerita winery and the wines from Regaleali. the business has been awarded "Winery of the Year" by the prestigious publication Gambero Rosso. Participants will sample recipes paired with Tasca d'Almerita wines.
