Your BU, Your Voice: Take the Belonging & Culture Survey

Dear Boston University Community Members:
This past September, we announced the creation of the Belonging & Culture Survey, BU’s first-ever campus-wide assessment gauging the sense of inclusion and belonging felt by students, faculty, and staff. We are pleased to announce that the survey is now live on the Belonging & Culture Survey website.
We urge you to please take 20–30 minutes over the coming weeks to complete this confidential survey and make your voice heard. This is an important opportunity to share your personal experiences, observations, and suggestions and, in turn, help shape the future of our University and the kind of environment we seek to foster for members of our community. As we continue to fulfill our commitments to two of the BU 2030 Strategic Plan pillars — “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” and “Community, Big Yet Small” — the results of this survey will help us identify areas where BU is seeing success, as well as challenges and opportunities for improvement. Survey data will better enable us to develop programs and policies that will increase a sense of belonging for all at BU.
The Belonging & Culture Survey will be open through Friday, March 31. Upon completing the questionnaire, you will be eligible for a weekly drawing to win more than 100 prizes, including a PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Apple AirPods. Additionally, the Belonging & Culture Survey Working Group will host a survey launch party at the George Sherman Union, Metcalf Hall, tomorrow, February 22, from 9 am to 5 pm. There will be refreshments, complimentary BU merchandise, games, music, and an opportunity to complete the survey in person.
