Matt Cramer | President of Operations<\/strong><\/p>\n

B.S. in Communication | Public Relations Emphasis | Class of May 2023<\/p>\n

Originally from Florida, Matt Cramer was drawn to Boston for its distinguished School of Communication and for the city\u2019s exciting, diverse culture. Previously, Matt served as account supervisor for PRLab. He oversaw two teams of Account Executives and worked with clients in the news<\/span> media and sustainable food industries. This past summer, Matt interned for Revlon in London where he designed press releases for product launches and served as a liaison between the company, press, and social media<\/span> influencers. Matt also has past experience working as an intern for a Silicon Valley-based medical device company. Leading their marketing efforts, he designed an original rebranding campaign and presented it to the company\u2019s executive board. He has served as Senior Editor of a local newspaper and is a published author and award-winning writer. Additionally, Matt is passionate about social service and building strong communities. He spearheaded several community service programs and led fundraising efforts for the Alzheimer\u2019s Organization. Matt also has a passion for languages, history, and art. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and reading about the latest industry trends.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Kylee Nguyen | <\/span><\/strong>President of Client Service<\/strong><\/p>\n

B.S. in Communication | Public Relations Emphasis | Journalism Minor | Class of May 2023<\/span><\/p>\n

Originally from Vietnam, Kylee Nguyen decided to come to BU to pursue a degree in PR with a minor in Journalism. She has previous PR experience in technology, entertainment, as well as food & culinary. Prior to becoming PRLab’s President of Client Service, Kylee was the Director of Social Media as well as an Account Executive at PRLab and is excited to continue working to nurture the beneficial relationships between clients and their audience. Asides from classes, she is currently also working as the Media Relations intern at Jerry, the car insurance savings app. Last summer, Kylee also interned at CerconeBrown, a Boston-based PR agency. From 2020-2021, Kylee served as the President of the College of Communication Student Government and a social media intern at the Hariri Institute at BU. In the future, Kylee hopes to further her career in brand or corporation communications at an agency. In her free time, Kylee loves traveling, experiencing new food and culture, as well as meeting new people.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Seth Delisle | Director of Research & Writing<\/strong><\/p>\n

Originally from southern Maine, Seth Delisle chose to come to Boston University for their prominent communications program and to experience city life. He is a senior studying public relations and political science with BU\u2019s dual degree program. Last Spring, Seth completed an internship with the Kensington and Chelsea Conservative Association during BU\u2019s Study Abroad program. Last semester, Seth served as an Account Executive with PRLab and the National Center for Race Amity team. With his team, he assisted NCRA in creating and bolstering an online and social media presence. Seth also led efforts to work with the organization to create engaging content for their online brand. He is very excited to be returning to PRLab for his final semester at BU in a director role. After college, Seth hopes to combine his communication skills with his political knowledge to work on campaigns and with issue advocacy organizations. In his free time, Seth enjoys going out with friends and watching BU and Bruins hockey.<\/p>\n

Corree Johnson | Director of External Affairs<\/strong><\/p>\n

M.S. in Public Relations | Class of August 2023<\/p>\n

Originally from southeast Minnesota, Corree Johnson is a public relations and communications professional with a highly influential work history in government relations, hospitality, and retail industries, overseeing and managing communication activities. She earned her B.S. in Marketing Communications, magna cum laude, from Bemidji State University. She leads communication efforts for a regional development organization in south-central Minnesota, where she maintains the organization\u2019s community strategy, ensures brand management, and facilitates civic and community engagement.<\/p>\n

On campus, Corree is committed to bridging her passions with her work and exploring new opportunities as a graduate student at Boston University College of Communications, where she will receive a master’s degree in public relations. She is a member of BU\u2019s Public Relations Society of America, involved with its conference committee and philanthropy subcommittee, and a communications specialist at the Center for Computing & Data Sciences. In her free time, she enjoys reading, working on her novel, attempting to increase her fitness, and watching \u201cbad\u201d TV\/movies.<\/p>\n

Martin Perez | Director of Internal Affairs<\/strong><\/p>\n

Originally from Orange County, California, Martin Perez chose to move across the country and attend Boston University for its prestigious communications programs and the bustling city atmosphere Boston provides. He has previously served as both an account supervisor and an account executive for PRLab, and is excited to be returning to PRLab for his fourth semester. This summer, Martin has worked as the digital marketing intern for the Mazda account at Shift Digital, a digital marketing agency offering program management services for automotive brands. Upon graduation, Martin hopes to combine his professional and personal interests in both public relations and theatre by pursuing a career as a PR practitioner in the entertainment\/media industry. Outside of class, he can be found performing in Boston University On Broadway\u2019s theatrical productions and exploring the city with friends.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aside from being PRLab\u2019s Director of Social Media, Yvonne Tang is a public relations and business student, intern at KCSA Communications, and Public Relations Chair at Back Bay Publishing Company. Yvonne has past experience as a social media designer, editorial illustrator, opinion columnist, and account executive. She is passionate about corporate social responsibility, and she believes that public relations is the means to find empathy between a brand and its audience. In her free time, you might find her doing something relatively fun.<\/p>\n

Pamela Zisimopoulos is a junior majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Business Administration and Management. Originally from Brooklyn NY, Pamela chose to attend Boston University to keep in touch with her city roots and to immerse herself in the reputable communications programs that BU has to offer. She served as an Account Executive last semester and is excited for what her second semester at PRLab as an Account Supervisor has to offer. This past summer, Pamela was a Social Media Marketing Intern for Filterbaby, where she curated content and kept track of SEO. On campus, she is a part of the Agganis Arena Rally Crew where she serves as a Marketing Assistant, and she is a part of Delta Gamma where she serves as the Director of Social Events. Originally from Shanghai, Amanda (Yuanyuan) Wang is a junior majoring in Public Relations and International Relations, with interests in bringing social changes through communication. After serving as an account executive for NCCSafe last semester, she is excited to return to PRLab as an account supervisor. Amanda has several experiences in social media campaigns, nonprofit fundraising, and event planning. Currently, she is an international marketing intern at AdvancingX, a pioneer spacing research company. She is also involved on campus as a COM Ambassador, a team director at PRSSA Unleashed PR, and a writer for Migration Tales. Outside of school and work, Amanda enjoys road biking, kayaking, and watching musicals.<\/p>\n

Eymee Torres is a senior at BU pursuing a PR degree on the Pre-Law track. Originally from Rhode Island, Eymee has loved living in the city of Boston. Most recently, Eymee is working as the Retail Marketing Intern for the skin-care brand, Glow Recipe. She has also worked as a Corporate Consumer Intern for LaFORCE serving clients such as YSL Beauty, Maybelline, Target Beauty and Uber. She has maintained numerous internships within the fashion, lifestyle and beauty sectors of PR and is excited to lead a team as an Account Supervisor. Outside of her studies and work, Eymee is a coffee connoisseur, loves all things pink, and exploring Boston with her friends. Joshua Toledo is a senior at Boston University majoring in public relations and minoring in political science. Originally from New York City, Joshua became interested in communications while working as an internal communications intern for Voya Financial the summer after graduating high school. He reorientated the company’s employee-directed donation campaign and drafted policy updates. Since then, Joshua has worked as an undergraduate research assistant for Dr. Shawn Lynch, creating a research database concerning the January 6th insurrection. He interned at Dawson Cronwell, a London-based family law firm, during a brief stint exploring law before returning to communications as an Account Executive working for PRLab during the Fall 2022 semester. After graduation, Joshua hopes to continue his professional development at an NYC-based PR agency focused on healthcare or tech.<\/p>\n

Emelyn Theriault is a junior at Boston University majoring in public relations with a minor in innovation and entrepreneurship. A motivated and outgoing young professional, Emelyn is involved in a number of clubs and organizations on campus. She is a dedicated member of the BU Running Club, for which she planned events, managed social media and conducted outreach, and inspired an environment welcoming to all. Emelyn is also a Student Ambassador on the PR Team at the Center for Career Development and Educational Resource Center, where she enjoys producing digital promotional content and presenting services to support BU students in their academic and career growth. This past summer, she was a Program Coordinator for FYSOP (the First-Year Student Outreach Project) at BU and looks forward to collaborating with other organizations in the Greater Boston area as an Account Supervisor for PRLab. Emelyn is bilingual in French and English, and she loves listening to podcasts as she runs or walks through the city.<\/div>\n

Originally from San Francisco, Angela Schmidt is a senior at BU majoring in public relations and minoring in business management and administration. She has agency experience in entertainment, publishing, and lifestyle communications, where most of her work has focused on digital media management and content creation. During the fall semester, Angela served as an account executive on the Spark FM client team, interned at a literary agency, and worked as a social media intern at the MIT Press. Outside work, you can find her binge-watching TV or spending the day reading and eating fries at Trident on Newbury. After graduation, Angela plans to pursue a PR career in publishing or entertainment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Born and raised in Portland, Maine, he developed a love for the outdoors, quality food, and exploring the oceans of New England through dinghy racing. He previously interned at Consensus Inc. where he prepared communication materials to support stakeholder outreach programs for public and private sector clients, as well as conducted media research and developed coverage reports for a client in commercial real estate. At BU, Alex serves as Agency Director for BU\u2019s student-run PR agency, Unleashed, and is an executive board member of BU PRSSA. Upon graduation, Alexander hopes to combine his passions for technology with innovation, entrepreneurship, and public relations by pursuing a career in the Technology industry.<\/p>\n
