Update to 2021 Intersession Schedule

Dear Friends,

I am writing to announce a change to this year’s Intersession schedule. Intersession will now begin at 5 pm on Tuesday, December 21, and run through Sunday, January 2, 2022, with normal business operations resuming on Monday, January 3. With this change, we are adding an additional one-and-a-half days off to the Intersession break. (The Intersession schedule we announced earlier this fall had Intersession starting at 1 pm on Thursday, December 23.)

We are grateful for your hard work and dedication that have allowed us to successfully conduct in-person operations for our large, vibrant educational community while still navigating the complexities of the COVID pandemic. We are communicating this change as early as possible so that people can make or adjust plans. I hope this earlier start to the Intersession break will be an opportunity for relaxation and renewal before we jump back into our spring semester activities.
