Vice President, Strategy & Innovation

Jasmin serves as a key driver of the institution’s strategic vision and execution. Working closely with internal and external partners, Jasmin identifies growth opportunities, fosters innovation, cultivates strategic partnerships, and builds institutional capacity to advance the University’s excellence and impact.

She joins Boston University from Saint Louis University, where she served as associate vice president for research and chief of staff. In this work, she oversaw the university’s research growth strategy and implementation of university-wide initiatives. Under her leadership, the university launched eight new university-wide centers or institutes; built capacity in research development and research innovation; and developed structures and programs for resource allocation and strategic decision-making.

Prior to this, Jasmin worked at the University of Chicago as executive director of Arete, a research accelerator. During her time at UChicago, she also served as chief of staff for the university’s Research Computing Center. Jasmin earned an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BS in speech and hearing science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She will complete her PhD in higher education administration from Saint Louis University in 2024.
