She earned the MA in Preservation Studies with a concentration in Museum Practice in May 2025.\u00a0 Yanjun comes from Shanghai on China\u2019s east coast at the southern estuary of the Yangtze river. Shanghai is the country\u2019s biggest city and its\u00a0 economic center, and has a rich cultural heritage. Yanjun has been motivated to enter the preservation field by her passion for the UNESCO World Heritage listed <a href=\"https:\/\/whc.unesco.org\/en\/list\/440\/\">Mogoa Caves<\/a> at Dunhuang <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in the Gansu Province and along the ancient <a href=\"https:\/\/whc.unesco.org\/en\/list\/1442\/\">Silk Road<\/a>, which are famous for their Buddhist murals.
