Ahyoung Cho received a Bachelor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a concentration in Comparative Culture and Identity from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor in 2016. She also received a Master of Public Policy degree from the Graduate School of Public Administration at Seoul National University in 2018. For her Master’s thesis, she analyzed how socioeconomic factors and geographical proximity affect the air quality performance of 100 developing and developed countries using the panel data set. She joined the Ph.D. program in Political Science at Boston University in the fall of 2018. Her current research interests include American public opinion on climate change, environmental and racial justice, climate policies, legislative behavior, and political methodology.
