New Growths: A Conversation on Indigenous Sovereignty + Sustainability
- Starts: 3:00 pm on Friday, November 1, 2024
- Ends: 5:30 pm on Friday, November 1, 2024
We are delighted to invite you to participate in an exciting discussion concerning land, integrity, and ecologies within the context of indigenous sovereignty and sustainability. Together with audience members and an all-indigenous panel located at the University of Southern Maine (USM), we will unpack what effective environmental stewardship, justice and sovereignty looks like when it is holistic, rather than piecemeal.
This event is the first of a two-part, cross-institutional conversation series between University of Southern Maine and Boston University. The Part One, in-person panel will take place at USM and will be livestreamed to BU audience members. Join us in CDS, Room 1646 for a collective viewing and virtual conversation with the University of Southern Maine on Friday, November 1, from 3:00 to 5:30 pm. Snacks will be provided.
