StoryMaps is an application within ArcGIS Online that allows one to create an interactive application to tell a story. It allows you to incorporate images, maps, videos, and sounds to enhance the story telling experience for the viewer. Explore the “Editors’ picks” gallery to see some examples of StoryMap applications. In this tutorial we will go over the structure of the user interface of the StoryMap application and explore the different tools used to add text, import media, and customize appearance of the StoryMap. No software installation is required; just an internet connection and an internet browser. You will need an ArcGIS Online account. If you do not already have one, please fill out this Google Form at https://forms.gle/QNRDNSDjnTqKjcP49 to request one.
