Sensitive Crimes

Boston University is committed to fostering a safe environment for all members of the University community and preventing all forms of sexual misconduct, including rape, acquaintance rape, sexual assault, domestic and dating violence, stalking, and sexual harassment. The University is committed to maintaining an environment that is welcoming and respectful to all. A hate crime is any crime that is motivated by bias on the part of the offender. Anyone who has experienced something of this nature is encouraged to report the incident to the University police, who have been trained to respond appropriately and with sensitivity to such incidents.
