Plays:\u00a0<\/span><em>Our Dear Dead Drug Lord<\/em><span>\u00a0(WP Theater\/Second Stage, NYT Critic\u2019s Pick, Kilroy\u2019s List, LTC Carnaval of New Latinx Work finalist, Relentless Award semifinalist, Bay Area Playwrights Festival finalist),\u00a0<i>Laughs in Spanish<\/i>\u00a0(Harold &amp; Mimi Steinberg National Student Playwriting Award),\u00a0<\/span><em>Christina\u00a0<\/em><span>(Roe Green Award), and\u00a0<\/span><em>The Sensational<\/em><span>\u00a0(Actors Theatre of Louisville).\u00a0Her\u00a0work has been developed at Oregon Shakespeare Festival, McCarter Theatre Center, Boston Playwrights\u2019 Theatre, Cleveland Playhouse, San Diego REP, and more. A<\/span><span>lexis\u2019 favorite acting credits include the Boston premiere of <\/span><em>Blasted<\/em><span>, a storefront <\/span><em>Equus<\/em><span>, and a regional production of <\/span><em>Fiddler on the Roof<\/em><span> she did when she was 13 instead of getting Bat Mitzvah\u2019ed. She also moonlights as the Producing Artistic Director of award-winning fringe company, Off the Grid Theatre. <\/span> <span>Alexis is a proud Miami native and New World School of the Arts alum, and holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from The Boston Conservatory <\/span>and MFA<span> in Playwriting from Boston University.
