Eugene Stanley"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Research Interests:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Puzzles of Interdisciplinary Science<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I work in collaboration with students and colleagues in an attempt to understand the puzzles of interdisciplinary science. Currently my main focus is understanding the anomalous behavior of liquid water in bulk, nanoconfined, and biological environments. I have also worked on a range of other topics in complex systems, such as quantifying correlations among the constituents of the Alzheimer brain, quantifying fluctuations in noncoding and coding DNA sequences, and interbeat intervals of the healthy and diseased heart.<\/p>\n<h3>Selected Publications:<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cCatastrophic Cascade of Failures in Interdependent Networks,\u201d S.
