Why are you interested in physics?\u00a0 Are there any topics within the field that most draw your attention?<\/span><\/em><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I\u2019m drawn to mirroring the world via mathematical models, which is exactly what theoretical physics is about. My research is on the connection between classical physics and quantum physics \u2013 how one turns into the other as you \u201czoom in or out\u201d, especially for many-body systems. I\u2019m generally interested in the foundations of quantum mechanics.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
