A. Sharma: "Celestial holography for the MHV sector" (Harvard)

Celestial holography aims to reformulate 4D physics in terms of a 2D CFT living on the celestial sphere. I will describe recent work on using a current algebra coupled with Liouville theory to reproduce 4D gluon MHV amplitudes as correlators of a 2D celestial CFT. The correlators will produce certain building blocks called “leaf amplitudes”, and I will explain how to recombine them into standard translationally invariant celestial amplitudes.
