We’re proud to share that Lee Roberts and the Muon g-2 Collaboration, along with Rob Carey, Jim Miller, and their mentees, have been awarded the 2026 Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics.
The prize recognizes the collaboration’s work on precision measurements of the muon’s anomalous magnetic moment, a key test of the Standard Model of particle physics. The achievement reflects the contributions of the broader High Energy Experimental Group and its role in advancing fundamental physics research.
