Professor Martin Schmaltz receives Humboldt Research Award

The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation has just informed our President and our Dean that our colleague, Martin Schmaltz has been selected to receive a Humboldt Research Award.

This award is conferred in recognition of the award winner’s entire academic record to date. In addition, award winners are invited to carry out research projects of their own choice in cooperation with specialist colleagues in Germany.The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation sponsors distinguished international scientists and scholars irrespectively of their academic discipline or nationality and maintains an international network of academic cooperation and trust.
