Sutherland: Two women were jointly making their law in a plea of debt. One of them withdrew from the bar for a short time during the proceedings, though the proceedings were not delayed thereby. Upon challenge, it was ruled that her withdrawal did not constitute a failure in making the law.
Headnote: Proceedings in compurgation, where the court seems to have shown forbearance. |
