Abstract Context
Commentary & Paraphrase
Knyvet CJKB said that one could claim the franchise of infangthief and outfangthief, and of abandoned chattels and estray, by title of prescription, but not chattels of fugitives and felons, if it was not by special grant, because it belonged to the king and his crown etc., so that it could not pass from the king's person if it was not by grant.
